What we ask you for, what happens to it after you press submit, and how to get a copy of it or have it deleted. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

The short version
- Two forms on this site ask you for a few details so we can reply and find your roof. They reach us as an email.
- We ask for the least we can. Neither form asks for your phone number, your date of birth, or any payment details.
- We do not sell what you tell us, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to follow you around other websites.
- The pages of this site set no cookies of their own. The chat widget on the home page belongs to somebody else and may set its own.
- You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call, and a person will do it.
The rest of this page is the same thing said carefully.
Who you are dealing with
This site is published by Rixa Roofing LLC, a roofing contractor at 436 Crompton St, Charlotte, NC 28273. You can reach us on (980) 600-2244 or at info@rixaroofing.com.
This policy covers this website and the forms on it. It also covers what you tell us by phone or by email, because that ends up in the same inbox. It does not cover the roofing work itself, which is governed by the written quote and the contract you sign before anything starts. Our Terms of Service cover the use of the site.
What you type in
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, the ZIP code of the property, which of our services you are asking about, and an optional note.
The free estimate form asks for your name, your email address, the property address and its ZIP code, the service you need, what kind of property it is, and optionally a timeframe and a description of the job.
That is both lists in full. Neither form asks for your phone number, a date of birth, a Social Security number, or any card or bank details, and we will never ask you for those by email. Please do not type them into a message box.
One field on each form is hidden from you and should always arrive empty. It is there to catch automated spam, and if it comes back filled in we throw the submission away instead of emailing it to ourselves.
What arrives without you typing it
Like every website, this one sits on servers that log requests. Our hosting provider records things like the address a request came from, the browser and device it reports itself as, which page was asked for, and when. We use that to keep the site up and to spot abuse.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not build a profile of you across other websites.
Cookies and browser storage
The pages of this site set no cookies of their own. There is no account to log into, nothing in a basket, and no ad network.
The home page loads a chat widget from a third party, LeadConnector. When it runs it may set its own cookies or store data in your browser so a conversation holds together between messages, and anything you type into it goes to that provider as well as to us. It is the only script on this site that is not ours.
Your browser settings control all of this. Blocking third-party storage may stop the chat working. Nothing else on the site depends on it.
What we do with it
- Reply to you.
- Book the free on-site inspection, and turn up at the right roof.
- Write your quote and send it to you.
- Do the work, and keep a record of what we did.
- Answer a question about that roof later, which may be years later.
That is the list. We do not sell what you tell us, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to anybody whose business is marketing.
Who else handles it
A few companies touch your details on the way to us, or in the course of keeping the site running.
- Our hosting provider, Vercel, which runs this site and receives your submission on its way through.
- Our email delivery provider, Resend, which turns that submission into the email that lands with us.
- The provider that hosts our own mailbox, where that email then sits with the rest of our correspondence.
- Our chat widget provider, LeadConnector, if you use the chat on the home page.
Two other cases, and both are at your say-so or out of our hands. If you ask us to help with a storm or hail claim, we share what the claim needs with your insurance company and the adjuster who meets us on the roof. And we will hand information over where the law requires it.
Nobody on that list is an advertiser.
Photographs of finished roofs
We publish photographs of roofs we have completed, and with them the town and county, the year the house was built, its size, and what was in scope.
We do not publish your name, your house number, or anything you told us in a form. If you would rather your roof was not shown here, email us and we will take it down.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not turn into work stays in our email records. Ask us and we will delete it.
Once we have quoted or worked on a roof, the record of that job (the quote, the contract, the photographs, the invoices) is a business record. We keep it for as long as we may need it: for the work itself, for a manufacturer’s material warranty claim on your roof, and for as long as tax and other legal obligations require.
If you want your details removed, email us. We will remove what we are not obliged to keep, and tell you what is left and why.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you
- send you a copy of it
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop contacting you
Email info@rixaroofing.com or call (980) 600-2244 during business hours (every day 8am to 5pm). There is no form for it and no account to make. We do not charge for it, and asking will not affect a quote or any work we are doing for you.
We give everyone the same choices, wherever you live.
Children
This site is for people arranging work on a building. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions travel encrypted, and the inbox they land in is reached only by the people who need it.
No website and no inbox is perfectly secure, which is the reason for the request above: do not send us a Social Security number, a card number, or bank details, through a form or by email. We do not need any of them to quote a roof.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we change this page and move the date at the top of it. There is no mailing list to announce it on, so the date is how you tell.
Questions about any of this
Ask a person. There is no form for it and no account to make, and you will not be passed to anyone else.
