Kings Mountain, Cleveland County
Four hip planes carried unbroken over the front porch, the stack reflashed, and new gutters hung on fresh sub-fascia. Roof Replacement in Kings Mountain, Cleveland County.
The finished roof from the back corner in full sun, where three of the four hip planes meet at the ridge and the laminated charcoal courses run unbroken down to the eave.
A hip corner close up, with the courses stepping down to the cut hip and the shingle overhanging the fresh sub-fascia, taken before the gutters went on.
The opposite elevation, carrying the same charcoal field the length of the house past the reflashed plumbing stack and the box vent set below the ridge.
The street front once the work was done, where the roof runs straight out over the covered porch instead of turning into a porch roof of its own.
